Women in Esports Charity Poker Tournament

Introduction
Esports and poker are two games requiring only two things: your hands and your mind. But for years, both scenes have continued to be dominated by men.
It’s time to flip the table.
On March 25 and 26, Team Liquid and Poker Powher—a woman-led company on a mission to teach one million women the game of skill—are teaming up to launch the Women in Esports Charity Poker Tournament.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re bringing together women from leading esports organizations to compete in advanced and beginner virtual poker tournaments powered by Poker Powher.
The tournaments are each winner-take-all, Texas Hold ‘Em style, with the prize pots going toward each winner’s charity of choice. Competitors will range from poker sharks to poker upstarts, all freshly prepared by Poker Powher’s expert workshops.
The tournament begins March 25 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET with the advanced table, with commentary by poker pros Melanie Weisner (of Poker Powher) and Gillian Epp. The beginners table will follow on March 26 at 10am PT / 1pm ET, featuring live commentary by poker pros and Poker Powher teachers Alex "Doc" Chauran and Xuan Liu.
