The Next Generation in League Content

If you stop seeing League of Legends videos on the Team Liquid YouTube channel, don’t be alarmed! It’s not that we’re stopping the content and definitely not that we’re stepping out of League.

The next generation of League of Legends content has a new home. Starting today, Team Liquid is migrating to its own YouTube channel: TL.gg/LOLYT.

With the new YouTube channel also comes new goals and focuses. It’s not just a new URL but also a hub for a lot of new content that’s easy to find for all the fans following our League team first and foremost.

For starters, we’re aiming to bring out even more of the personality behind our all-star squad - whether it’s Tactical’s zoomer humor, Alphari’s dry wit, or CoreJJ’s savagely calm trash talk. We’re also looking to increase the connection with the community, through things like AMAs, discord channels for our players, and highlights from their streams.

Beyond the player, we’re doubling down on two things that have defined Liquid League of Legends back since we were more a flame than a tide: our drive and our transparency. We’ll show both the team’s push to be the best and the missteps along the way. As an organization, we set the standard for transparency and narrative with Breaking Point and now we’re looking to raise the bar higher.

But so far, all of this is very general. Here are some specific new videos and series you can look forward to.

Draft Diff

Join Jatt, Kold, Yaltz, and our coaching staff for an in-depth analysis of drafts and metas of the past. This is the place to learn about how draft gaps are made and how teams read metas for an edge over their opponents.

Draw My Life

Every player has a story that goes beyond the game and we’re looking to capture that with a uniquely artistic approach. Draw My Life not only features players telling their stories but artists working together to spring those stories into illustrations.

World Cup

Analysis and narrative are nice but sometimes it’s better to be light-hearted. On World Cup, players and staff play a bit of “This or That” on the finer topics in life—like food and anime.

Jatt Recap

In case you aren’t on Twitter, the Jatt Recap was a weekly breakdown where our head coach talked to the fans candidly about the ups and downs of the season. We’re bringing the recaps to YouTube so they’ll be easier for everyone to find and enjoy.

TL;BL

If you’re looking for a more chill sit-down vibe, then TL;BL has you covered. Sponsored by Bud Light, this show gives you a glimpse into the background behind a team via a loungey, interview podcast format.

Jersey Mic’d

Speaking of sponsors and partners, Jersey Mike’s will keep bringing you the mic checks! Check out our Jersey Mic’d videos to see the comms behind the plays. With top-notch production and color-coded subtitles, the chaos of the game becomes clear.

Academy Assessment

We’re not leaving the academy team out! Academy Assessment is a long-form interview series hosted by coach Spawn where you can learn about Team Liquid’s new talent.

Room tours

For a more casual glimpse into the academy team, we’re moving the Room Tours over to YouTube as well. From the cramped gaming house to a training facility and apartments, Room Tours showcase how the pros live nowadays and all the personal touches that create their space.

Community and Highlights

Stepping away from the script, we’ll also be bringing in more stream highlights, community AMAs, and Team Liquid Tailgates. There’s no Team without the fans and community and that’s a big part of why we want to bring in AMAs and tailgates.

Be sure to check out all of these videos—and more—on our new YouTube channel and to learn more about our players and their mission on our League website. We plan to have a legendary journey in Summer 2021 and we hope you’ll stick with us each step of the way.
