Team Liquid is proud to share that we’re extending our longtime relationship with SAP.
For nearly 50 years, the market leader in enterprise application software has helped its partners run at their best. And, since 2018, SAP has supported Liquid by implementing and co-developing innovative technologies that elevate our teams’ gameplay.
An esports development team at SAP works closely with Team Liquid’s League of Legends and Dota 2 teams to provide in-game data analytics, helping the competitive organization improve its match preparation routines and gain new strategic insights.
Through the power of SAP HANA, the SAP Business Technology Platform, and predictive and machine learning functionalities, Team Liquid is able to more quickly and efficiently analyze opponents’ approaches. This includes which heroes are picked or banned and corresponding win rates. And, through the use of historical match data, they help us analyze and create pre-tournament or pre-match game plans.
Simply put, they help us make better, faster, and more strategic decisions.
SAP technology also supports player growth and improvement, through performance analysis based on in-game data insights. In such a highly competitive environment, this information can serve as a vital resource, and make the difference between victory and defeat. With SAP, the team is now able to tap into an unprecedented amount of data to deliver its best performance.
As our official innovation partner, SAP will join us as we will look to invest further in those innovations and turn towards scouting and development—identifying emerging talent at the beginning of their rise, and crunching through historical performance data.
