Team Liquid x Zoomph
August 18 2020
Team Liquid is excited to announce a brand new partnership with Zoomph. What is this “Zoomph” you ask? Zoomph specializes in esports and sports analytics while providing best-in-class, AI-based insight to help teams better understand their social media audiences and help measure the impact of their brand partnerships. So yeah, it’s a pretty awesome partnership!
Through this partnership, Zoomph has created a custom version of its real-time social analytics platform to meet our unique needs as a global team with a global fanbase. Zoomph’s platform equips Team Liquid with valuable reporting data to create more engaging and meaningful partner campaigns, which can then be used for things like our recently announced Liquid+. Team Liquid and its athletes will also use this data to effectively grow their social media audiences and connect better with the fans who support them.
“Social media is integral to our industry, and we’ve been searching for ways to expand our level of insight into this critical area,” Team Liquid CEO, Victor Goossens, said. “As data reporting continues to evolve, Team Liquid needed a partner with powerful capabilities, who’s fluent in esports, innovates quickly alongside us, and adapts to find new sources. Zoomph checks all those boxes and more. With their insights, we’ll be able to maximize the value of our partners’ campaigns, and create more of what our fans want to see.”
One of the first Team Liquid campaigns that Zoomph measured was the Armada Music Showstopper, where Team Liquid athletes and streamers battled alongside (and against) Armada artists in VALORANT, the massively popular character-based tactical shooter. With Zoomph’s custom platform, Team Liquid was able to uncover data points on fans’ social media engagement with the campaign beyond what’s standard in the industry.
But this isn’t a partnership that only helps us — that’s what makes it even better. Partnering with Team Liquid has also allowed Zoomph to elevate their own capabilities and continue to evolve in the esports space.
“Team Liquid is supported by a passionate and highly engaged community across a range of competitive games, apparel, and digital content,” Zoomph Co-Founder and Chief Digital Officer Nick Cronin explained. “Our partnership with Team Liquid has helped us elevate all aspects of our platform and flex our capabilities more than ever. Together we continue to innovate and showcase the value of Team Liquid’s unparalleled fan base.”
With Zoomph, we’ve never been closer to our community.
