Digital Product Manager



Job Title: Digital Product Manager.
Type: Full-Time.
Location: Remote or HQ.

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for owning, building and marketing Team Liquid’s digital products. This individual will focus on product, positioning, placement and programming that will engage and grow the team’s fanbase, while driving its business forward.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Audits and reviews product architecture, UX, user behavior and insights to proactively address new features and upgrades.
  • Builds product briefs for enhancements and new releases to guide internal development and design teams.
  • Researches product innovation, industry and competitive landscapes to apply best practices and minimize failure.
  • Consistently drives constant product innovation, including the implementation of new capabilities and features.
  • Collaborate daily with key product and project stakeholders to develop, innovate and market products.
  • Owns timeline and deadline management of tasks needed for product launches and integrated programming.
  • Helps produce and manage product project budgets, as well as current and future resources.
  • Plans and executes digital marketing product plans in collaboration with the content, website and social teams.
  • Works directly with Apple and Google Play in featuring and managing ratings and reviews for mobile app products.
  • Measures, shares and applies analytics for product enhancements and exposure.
  • Compiles, translates and distributes all first-party data points from internal resources into actionable reports.
  • Collaborates closely with brand asset and marketing leads to plan, produce and leverage fan-facing programs.
  • Guides the commerce, community and partnership teams on program inventory, marketing, fulfillment and support.
  • Reports and analyzes product insights and loyalty program landscape to maximize product impact and UX.


Requirements/Qualifications:


  • 5+ combined years professional experience in SaaS/tech, plus product management and/or brand management.
  • Hands-on business experience in launching customer loyalty programs and/or CRM’s.
  • Bachelor in business, marketing or human behavior; advanced degree desirable.
  • Direct experience with third and first-party consumer data handling, interpretation and application.
  • Personal knowledge and understanding of the esports industry and consumer preferred.
  • Personal knowledge and understanding of esports social platforms (Twitch, Discord) and all mainstream social media channels.
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Google Docs/Hangouts, etc. preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% of the year.

Marketing Manager



Job Title: Marketing Manager.
Type: Full-Time.
Location: Remote or HQ.

The CRM/Email Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing Team Liquid’s digital communication channels. This individual will focus on resources and tactics that will engage and grow the team’s fanbase, while driving its business forward.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Creates and sources original copy and content for all communication.
  • Develops and activates programs to grow fan communications across web, social, product, commerce and community.
  • Drafts and distributes highly-customized messaging aimed to build fan engagement and loyalty.
  • Designs, implements and manages an email calendar for the product, commerce, community, culture and other teams.
  • Leads organizational alignment, plus consistency and the customization of messaging to all fan groups.
  • Designs, implements and manages an SMS system for product, community and commerce to better communicate with fans.
  • Leads organizational alignment, plus consistency and the customization of messaging to all fan groups.
  • Defines, organizes and implements systems to accurately communicate with fans and customers across the organization.
  • Safekeeps and reserves fan information to meet all privacy and regulatory standards.
  • Reports and analyzes all system insights and the esports landscape to consistently maximize messaging impact.
