The Worlds Address

September 30 2019

Everyone knows that before truly epic moments you need an epic speech. The rallying cry that raises morale and prepares everyone to fight for whatever the cause may be. We've seen it in movies like Braveheart and Independence Day. And throughout history from people like Churchill, and Honest Abe. So we decided to give it a shot ourselves using one of Abraham Lincoln's famous speeches as a base. We bring you, "The Worlds Address."

Nearly one score ago our forefathers brought forth onto this world a new organization, conceived in the desire to win, and dedicated to the proposition that all people under the Liquid banner are the best at their craft.

Now we are engaged in a great conflict, testing whether any organization so conceived and so dedicated can long endure our wrath. We are met on a great stage of this World Championship. We have gathered to dedicate this stage as the final resting place for those who will give their futile resistance in hopes that their team might prosper. Although, it is fitting and proper that we should eliminate them cleanly, decisively and never let them forget the truth from one who far outclasses them all. “Everyone else is trash.”

But, in a larger sense, we must dedicate and we must consecrate this hallow ground with our victory. Those who will fall here and suffer from the cold hands of defeat will shame this ground, testing what the legacy we build can override. The world will little note, nor long remember what they attempt here. But, it can never forget what we will do here. It is for us, the greatest team in the history of the world, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work those before us have nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the task remaining before us, that from these honorable teams we take increased devotion to the cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion, that we here highly resolve that the teams we defeat shall not fall in vain. But, rather that this team, under Steve, shall have a new birth of Victory. And that the organization of the people, by the people and for the people shall take our rightful grasp of the Summoner’s Cup.
