Now Hiring: 2x Clash Royale Analyst and 1x Clash Royale Asst Manager

Team Liquid, a leading esports organization, has just begun its expansion into Clash Royale with an all-star roster set to compete in the inaugural Clash Royale League. We are looking for two (2) Clash Royale analysts and one (1) Clash Royale Assistant Manager. They must be organized, analytical, detail oriented individuals and will give our team a competitive edge during their stay at the Alienware Training Facility.

Two (2) Clash Royale Analysts

Job Title: Clash Royale Analyst.
Type: Contractor.
Location: Remote, Worldwide.
Reports to: Clash Royale Team Manager.

A successful candidate is:

Analytical. Our ideal candidates possess an astute mind that can parse information and focus on highly significant details.
Self-motivated. Our analysts will work remotely and should manage their time to complete the weekly deliverables.
Reliable. Our Clash Royale team plays three times a week, and we need our analysts to prepare materials in time for practice.
A Clash Royale expert. Staying up-to-date on the current competitive meta through review and first-hand experience are requirements for our analysts.
Organized. Data presentation is an important part of the job, and our ideal candidate understands how to explain even the most complex concepts.
Detail-oriented. Small details separate the best teams, and we require an analyst that can see advantages that are easy to miss.

Requirement/Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent understanding of MS Excel, Google sheets/docs, and similar programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of Clash Royale, including but not limited to game metas, deck compositions, and card ban strategy.
Experience in data analysis fields required.
A high ladder rating is preferred.
Knowledge of the Clash Royale professional scene preferred.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Watch their assigned competitive Clash Royale matches and create documents that log pertinent information.
Submit weekly summaries of CRL Asia, EU, NA, and LATAM.
Research specific game information as assigned by the coaching staff, including card placements, card preferences, winrates, and bans.
Assist in general research subjects.

Application Process

Since our Analyst positions are technical in nature, we would like you to complete the following two (2) tasks to demonstrate your suitability for the role. Please complete these tasks as comprehensively as possible while displaying: 1.) A high level of understanding of Clash Royale; and 2.) An ability to present that analysis clearly and concisely.

Task 1: Player Analysis
Pick a player and build a dataset of their deck usages, win rates with and against various decks, and any other information you think may be valuable. This can be presented in the format of your choosing.

Task 2: Team Analysis
Pick a team and build a dataset of their deck usages, win rates with and against various decks, bans, and any other information you think may be valuable. This can be presented in the format of your choosing.

One (1) Clash Royale Assistant Manager

Job Title: Clash Royale Assistant Manager.
Type: Summer Internship.
Duration: July 2018 - September 2018.
Location: Santa Monica, CA.
Reports to: Clash Royale Team Manager.

What you'll be doing:

Manage Team Liquid’s Clash Royale players and ensure that they meet all media, sponsor, and tournament obligations.
Supervise Team Liquid’s Clash Royale players during events, public appearances, and community initiatives.
Coordinate player travel, satisfy player requests and organize player and team schedules, including setting practice hours, scheduling external scrim partners, and organizing team building events.
Maintain constant communication with, and report to, supervising managers and the CEO regarding player schedules, obligations and developments.
Coordinate with other Team Liquid departments for all player requests, including but not limited to social media posts, sponsored content, signing sessions, interviews, photo sessions, video sessions, AMAs, Discord events, and others.
Assist Team Liquid’s PR, Communications, and Client Services departments in communicating with clients, partners, media outlets, fan groups, tournament organizers, and other third parties.

What you should have:

Excellent written and fluent verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in esports is a bonus, but is not required.
Related degree or field of study is greatly preferred.
Related work experience is greatly preferred.
Clash Royale experience is a bonus, but is not required.
