Welcoming insanity

May 01 2018

Last season, our Academy team performed admirably throughout, earning top honors in the round robin. Even though we fell a little early in the playoffs, our squad displayed their abundant potential, with more to come next split. Recently, we announced the transfer of Mickey to the Golden Guardians, which opened up a spot in our starting Academy roster. Fortunately, we already had someone in mind to complete North America's most promising young team.

Welcome, Liquid`insanity!

"I'm very excited to be joining TL, and look forward to proving myself as the Academy team's starting mid laner. This team showed a lot of promise last split, and I hope to live up to the expectations of my teammates as well as my fans. #TLWIN"

David "insanity" Challe

"I'm very excited to finally have insanity join the TLA roster. I believe that insanity is an incredibly gifted player that will excel at his role. David has already moved into Team Liquid housing and his transition into living as a pro player is going smoothly; I have no doubts that he will be an excellent fit for the team, competitively and culturally. Filling in for Mickey will not be an easy task but I have full confidence that David will be able to do so."

Insanity, or "insanityxxx" as he's known on Twitch, is familiar to many fans of League of Legends. The popular streamer has over 18,000 subs and growing, drawn to his high level play and eclectic charm. He will be taking his talents to the Academy league during the summer split as our starting midlaner, and we hope that he will learn and improve a lot under the wing of North America's #1 midlaner.

The Academy league will resume in June, so watch out for insanity's debut. In the meantime, check out his stream as he continues to climb the ladder.

WoW   Trill: The Bridge Between In the WoW community, the clearest divide might not be Horde and Alliance. It might be PvP and PvE.
