Team Liquid joins the Clash Royale League

The world's biggest esports team belongs in the world's biggest esports leagues, and we're thrilled to announce that we have officially joined the premiere mobile gaming circuit: the Clash Royale League! 2018 will be an important year for mobile esports, and we're proud to be a part of this inaugural season. We expect great things from Clash Royale and our new partners Supercell, and we can't wait to find out all the details.
Our championship caliber squad of Frank "Surgical Goblin" Oksam and Jarod "Azilys" Quesada will be representing Team Liquid in the European region. Surgical Goblin's and Team Liquid's Dutch roots made this an obvious choice, and we are confident that we have one of the strongest squads in the world. Tune in to your phones as we prepare for the fall season and aim for the World Finals at the end of the year.
Supercell has been a pleasure to work with so far, and they have some very unique plans that show their commitment to Clash Royale esports. Their CRL Challenge gives young, unknown players the opportunity to be discovered and signed by its CRL Teams in a pro-am format. There should be more than a few gems hidden within the 6,723 CRL Challenge winners, and one of them could be you!

It was just announced that we will be a part of the Clash Royale League, and we could not be happier. Clash Royale is one of the most played games on the planet, and I personally have been playing the game since it launched. I'm not that good — so unfortunately I won't be playing as part of the team — but I believe that the game has really great balance and has a deep competitive atmosphere.
We recently signed two of the best players in the world, Frank "Surgical Goblin" Oksam and Jarod "Azilys" Quesada, and we're excited to start competing in this brand new circuit. Our European squad has what it takes to win, and we will be providing them all the resources they need in order to seize the first CRL trophy.
