Just today, we released an update about our new Alienware Training Facility in Los Angeles, as well as an unprecedented partnership with Alienware. As Team Liquid continues to grow, we need more talented individuals to help push our team to the fore. We are searching for one (1) administrative assistant for the AWTF, and one (1) remote community manager.

Administrative Assistant



Job Title: Administrative Assistant for AWTF.
Type: Full Time.
Location: AWTF in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
Reports to: CEO.


Our new Alienware Training Facility in Los Angeles will be the envy of all esports, and we need an administrative assistant who can ensure that it will be running on all cylinders. Our administrative assistant will support our management team and promote efficiency in the facility. Don’t worry, we’ll buy our own wards.

A successful candidate is:


  • Precise. The candidate must communicate clearly and accurately to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
  • Timely. Most of the candidate’s work will have quick and hard deadlines.
  • Accommodating. The candidate will help with bootcamps, seminars, summits, and all types of events that involve our players, managers, and leadership.
  • Organized. The candidate will be in charge of keeping everyone on-time and coordinating calendars. This includes scheduling appointments, meetings, events, and calls, as well as booking reservations, flights, accommodations, and other appearances.
  • Welcoming. As the front-of-house, the candidate will manage trips to the facility and usher visitors and guests.
  • Thoughtful. The candidate will help with gift selection for fans, add personal touches for employees, prepare thank yous and considerations for clients, and manage their delivery and correspondence.
  • Attentive. Many of our best ideas happen spontaneously, and the candidate will be tasked with documenting things such as policy updates, standard operating procedures, business plans, and plans-of-action.
  • Proactive. The candidate must be active in sending reminders, emphasizing deadlines, and relaying information to other staff members.
  • Discrete. Confidential information will be shared with the candidate on a daily basis, and they must understand the guidelines for sharing such information.
  • Brand aware. As a representative of Team Liquid, the candidate must be aware of the team’s brand, as well as our staff’s personal brands, when communicating on our behalf.
  • An excellent communicator. The candidate will converse with staff, management, players, clients, sponsors, company representatives, fans, and others. Must be comfortable communicating through text messages, email, on the phone, and in person.
  • A positive person. The candidate will have a big impact on the atmosphere, and a pleasant personality will help ease stress and tension.


Requirement/Qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple staff across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent projects based on deadlines and importance.
  • Astute research skills and attention to detail.
  • Client relationship management experience preferred.
  • Experience within and knowledge of the esports industry preferred but not required.


Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Manage, organize, and update management calendars and schedules on a daily basis.
  • Manage a list of overflow correspondence, take down notes on the appropriate response, and manage communications on behalf of upper management.
  • Communicate with event coordinators and organize management schedules; send necessary documentation and review bookings and reservations.
  • Set up, schedule, and communicate client meetings, including dinner reservations, tickets, event times, and possible travel.
  • Handle correspondence for travelling or indisposed staff by relaying their schedule to relevant parties.
  • Maintain to-do-lists and checklists for management and remind them of pending deadlines and urgent decisions.
  • Attend meetings with management and take down minutes, record conversations, or document agreements.
  • Facilitate post-meeting agendas such as responding to emails, creating calendar invites, and writing down reminders.
  • Review facility management checklists with the team manager and assist when necessary.
  • Assist managers with market research reports.


A truly effective administrative assistant is worth their weight in gold because they ensure that their entire team functions optimally. They should have a high stress tolerance, be self-regulating, and possess both reliability and consistency in their quality of work. Most of all, the best AAs understand how to prioritize, learn quickly and solve problems before they become an issue, and possess practically perfect organizational skills.

LOL Digital Community Manager



Job Title: LOL Digital Community Manager
Location: Remote.
Reports to: Team Managers, Social Media Manager, Project Managers.

A successful candidate is:


  • On the pulse. Esports is always moving, and our ideal candidate knows what’s going on in our games, on our communities, and in esports as a whole.
  • Always listening. The candidate will be our eyes and ears, relaying fan sentiment and opinions to help us better serve them.
  • Part of the community. With a vibrant fanbase on Discord, Steam, the League of Legends Client, Twitch, Reddit, and our community sites, the candidate must be able engage with members of the community across all platforms on a daily basis.
  • Creating connections. The candidate will be our community liaison, and they must actively bring our fans closer to our players, teams, and staff members by building a strong communication experience.


Requirement/Qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Background in community management preferred.
  • Knowledge of the relevant platforms.
  • Knowledge of memes, inside-jokes, and the culture of all relevant communities.
  • Must be a Team Liquid fan.


Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with content production teams and the social media team to create assets and promote team and player content in the relevant communities.
  • Submit content ideas for social media and the team site based on community sentiment and desires.
  • Provide coverage on community channels during game days and promote active participation from fans.
  • Create weekly plans for content, events, and activities designed to keep our fanbase engaged with our competitive programs.
  • Management and production of daily, weekly, and monthly internal reports of activity and sentiment as well as outward facing reporting, content, and infographics.
  • Announce program schedules and game days to our communities on a daily basis.

LOL Community Manager



Job Title: LOL Community Manager
Location: Los Angeles.
Reports to: Team Managers, Social Media Manager, Project Managers.

A successful candidate is:


  • Engaging. Our Hype Person should have an infectious personality that gets fans off their seats. The candidate will spend a lot of time meeting other fans and they will be tasked with getting them hyped for our matches.
  • Spontaneous. Our Hyper Person needs to be ready for anything. The LCS is full of surprises, and they must be able to anticipate the action and react to big moments. They must also be active before and after games by inciting authentic crowd-reactions from our fans.
  • Punctual. As if anyone would ever want to be late for the LCS.
  • Friendly. The candidate should personally interact with our fans at the live studio during every game day.
  • Flexible. The candidate’s work schedule will depend on our team’s schedule, and they must be available on weekends throughout the year, including the summer if applicable.


Requirement/Qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Background in community management preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and social skills.
  • Strong non-verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a Team Liquid fan.


Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the social media team on a weekly basis for content campaigns, events, promotions, tickets, and other community projects at the live studio.
  • Assist the social media team, 1UP Studios, and the website team in pushing content to fans at the venue.
  • Attend fan meets, get togethers, tailgates, college and campus visits, and other community events to assist the organizers.
  • Collaborate with the social media and content teams in creating promotional routines at our live events.
  • Distribute promotional items during fan meets, tailgates, and other events.
