"Liquid was one of the first teams to put faith in Melee players. It only follows that we pick up one of the last OG Legends who has proven he can keep up with the best in the world. I speak for everyone when I say: "

- Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma

"I am so honored that Team Liquid has chosen me to represent them. This is an amazing opportunity and I can't wait to start playing under their brand."

- Daniel "ChuDat" Rodriguez

With a competitive history that dates back to 2005, ChuDat is one of the Smash scene's most seasoned and respected veterans. During the early days of Smash, he helped develop the meta for would-be Ice Climber players and fitting to the Liquid Smash mantra, make a name for himself with unorthodox strategies and methods of play.

We're happy to have someone as experienced as ChuDat join our roster of legendary Smashers. At the very least, we can expect to see more hot tracks from him and Chillindude. True that!
