Liquid places second in the Manila Major

After falling into the lower bracket in the quarterfinals of the Manila Major, it looked like it would be unlikely that the Liquid boys would maintain their uncanny consistency of reaching the podium places at all their recent tournaments. With a little luck and even more resolve, they climbed 5 rounds in the lower bracket in order to reach the grand finals, where they would meet a familiar foe: OG.

It was a well fought final, but in the end, Liquid placed second behind their great rivals. The two teams, arguably the two best in the world right now, had a titanic 4 game set. While the 5 boys must settle for silver this time around, their road to stardom has been remarkable.
