Official Response - C9 & fREAKAZOiD

February 19 2016
We felt it was appropriate to address the actions by Cloud9 as an organization and the apology by Ryan 'fREAKAZOiD" Abadir. Oleksandr would like to respond in his own words below:

"Thank you for your letter and apologizing Ryan. I accept your apology and I know that I wasn't right also in the various situations with how I behaved. I have always had a good relationship with Cloud9 and would like to keep it that way. I hope all fans of Liquid and Cloud9 can support us and move forward from this."

- Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev

"All notable players should be held to a higher standard. We have increased the depth of our sensitivity and player development training by requiring additional days with every player in the Team Liquid organization. We’ve also been in contact with the Pacer Center to collaborate on ways of using their resources to provide more education and awareness to our staff and players. It becomes increasingly more important to focus on professionalism, integrity and respect as CS:GO grows. Thanks to Cloud9 for properly handling this situation - I am proud of the players for their apologies."

- Steve "LiQuiD112" Arhancet

Liquid and Cloud9 have established a great relationship over the years and we look forward to working together to shape the future of esports. It is great to see that Cloud9 focuses on similar values and we hope that fans of both organizations can move past this and continue to support Liquid, Cloud9 and our players.
