Unlegit moves in to Liquid Halo's line-up

November 16 2015

Statement

Over the past few weeks, we have been exploring a lot of options with our Halo team ever since Mikwen expressed interest in going to Team Envyus. After trying out a few players, we landed on Kevin "Unlegit" Smith. Initially, I saw a person who didn't sleep and played Halo 5 a ton but after speaking with him I have grown very appreciative of his character and I think he is a perfect fit to the Team Liquid family.

Additionally I would like to give a huge shout-out to Team Elevate and their dedication to the players and maintaining high standards in Halo. We appreciate all the work they put into this to make this transaction go as seamless as possible

- Caleb Anderson, Halo Team Manager

Player Statement

As you may have heard, Mikwen has decided to leave Liquid for Envy. After careful deliberation and many possible 4ths to suit the team, we decided to pick up an up-and-coming new-comer, Unlegit. He showed qualities we liked in a teammate and are confident in being able to win future events with him. He is very dedicated and you can expect him, and us as a team, to be well practiced for any tournaments to come.

- Aaron “Ace” Elam, Captain
