Rebirth | Episode 13

In conjunction with HTC, Team Liquid brings you a series that follows our League of Legends team through the wild life of the NA League of Legends Championship Series.

Dubbed Rebirth, our goal is to give the fans an inside look on the functions and dramas of an LCS Team. A light will be shined on the lives and trials of our players and you’ll get a raw look into the realities of pro gaming.

With a tough loss against Team SoloMid in the play-offs, the team put destiny outside their own control. A trip to Madison Square Garden in New York meant a battle for third place, and the trip itself felt less than stellar--despite playing in one of the world's largest sporting arenas.

Still, that didn't stop Team Liquid from conquering their own woes, and beating Impulse at the event. Even then, fate isn't too kind, as TSM would lose to Counter Logic Gaming in the finals, relinquishing us of the Worlds spot we hoped to secure.

While the tale isn't too bright, you'll get a deep look at what goes on when things seem to go wrong. It's not always sunshine on a pro gaming team, but you learn to endure.
