EVO 2015: Liquid in Full Force

It's that time of the year! This weekend, fighting games' biggest annual tournament, the Evolution Championship Series (EVO), will be taking place at Bally's/Paris Las Vegas Casino in Nevada. Liquid's fighters will be in full force, with all active Smashers and NuckleDu— representing Street Fighter—attending the prestigious event. This will be the largest tournament of EVO’s history with Street Fighter boasting 2,227 entrants and Melee not far behind with 1,869 of its own. Nearly every top player in the world will be in attendance, and it's shaping up to be the grandest of events.

Making their way to the monumental stage are Liquid's very own Hungrybox, Chillin, Ken and NuckleDu. Hungrybox has recently come off a second place finish at FC Smash 15XR and is looking to take home the gold for America. His EVO results thus far—third in 2013 and second in 2014—certainly show that he is capable of stamping his name into the record books.

NuckleDu has made significant waves this year, recently winning Combo Breaker. Our electrifying Guile will no doubt aim for the championship trophy and attempt to solidify himself as North America's best. Chillin and Ken, two of the few remaining active members of the first competitive Melee generation, have been smashin' their controllers in preparation as they look to have their names echo across the nation once more.
