Doublelift
Doublelift Returns
on 3 year deal
“This is my 8th season. This one feels different because of franchising—the stakes are so much higher. I have a lot more pride in being an American player now, especially like a homegrown talent, I guess. And I just want to show the world that I’ve been the best AD Carry in this region for a really really long time. I wanna extend that to international success and being on this roster, makes me feel like that can be a reality.
This roster is basically built to win, and that’s why I joined it. “

This will be an off-season that few fans will ever forget. Aside from the fundamental changes to the league, we’ve been hearing news everyday that has drawn both awe and disbelief. The free agency period has been a rollercoaster ride, and we have begun to receive confirmation of moves and trades that no one could have imagined possible just a year ago.
When Doublelift returned from his hiatus to help Team Liquid avert the threat of relegation, few would have expected the move to become permanent. Yet one split on from his cameo, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng returns as a full-fledged member of Team Liquid.
For those that may not remember, Doublelift is a long-time friend of the organization, dating back to the team’s first incarnation as unRestricted eSports. He made his switch to AD Carry during his time on unR, before joining the rest of the team in their transition to Curse. During this time, Doublelift proved himself as an AD Carry with elite potential, despite having to suffer through LiQuiD112’s support play. Since then, Doublelift has solidified his reputation as North America’s most feared carry.

Starting AD Carry: Doublelift
A name that needs no introduction, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng is a six-year veteran of professional League of Legends, a three time NALCS Champion, and a three time All-Star competitor. His roots run as deep as the sport itself with a debut in 2011 as a young support wielding a notorious Blitzcrank. After a switch to AD Carry, Doublelift rose to prominence as one of the league’s stars. Through international and domestic competition, he has weathered the storm of family disapproval, fierce rivalry, and a never-ending spotlight: the expectation is best in class, and Doublelift delivers. Everyone else is trash.
