  2. You are currently attending or have a reasonable expectation to attend high school, secondary education institute, or a continuing education program. (i.e. trade school, college, university). In the event that you’re not currently enrolled, an awarded grant will be held for a period of 18 months, to be distributed upon proof of enrollment.
  3. Accept the Good in Gaming Scholarship Competition Terms and Conditions (the “Rules”) at the time of your application. You may be asked to reaffirm your acceptance prior to receiving the scholarship.
  4. Your primary residence or applicable Educational Institution (as defined by the Rules) must be located in one of the qualifying regions to apply for this scholarship.

Team Liquid and Alienware believe gaming is for everyone. We’re launching a scholarship program to offer equity in educational programs encouraging students to go after their dreams. Our educational scholarship puts power back into the hands of youth who would change the world if they were equipped.

There are inequities in education funding and access for members of marginalized groups (whether that classification is based on race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation/gender identity, physical disability, or other classifications), and as a result, many individuals who are members of such protected classes are underrepresented in educational institutions. This initiative, and the scholarships, are intended to counteract those inequities, and create more opportunities to close the gap.
